Cycling safely and with confidence is paramount in enjoying cycling. Cycle Confident instructors can help you achieve this…

Schools:
Cycle Confident offers National Standard cycling instruction in both Primary and Secondary Schools. Training is delivered by Accredited National Standard Cycling Instructors who all have up to date CRB checks.

Our courses are delivered in four two-hour sessions per group of eight trainees. Initially trainees are taught basic control skills in a playground environment and as the course progresses, capable trainees are introduced to on-road skills.

Thorough risk assessment of the training location and trainees is carried out both before and during training ensuring a safe environment for our trainees.

Individuals:
You want to start cycling but don’t have the confidence? Cycle Confident Instructors can help!

Child, teenager or adult, our 1-to-1 sessions cater for trainees who are complete beginners through to experienced riders who need to refresh their road skills. We will assess your abilities and progressively build on them. By working through the National Standards for Cycle Training our instructors will help you cycle safely and with confidence.

Once competent, we can help plan the best routes to work, to friends’ houses or wherever ever you want to go. We can incorporate these routes into your lessons or ‘bike buddy’ with you until you feel confident completing the journeys individually. < top >

Family Tuition:
Our 1-to-1 sessions also extend to family tuition. We will show you how to safely take your family on the roads allowing you fun days out and even using cycling as a method of transport to school! < top >

Activity Groups:
A great way to learn to cycle or refresh cycling skills is with friends or existing groups. Cycle Confident regularly run courses that can be tailored to group requirements. < top >
