Ages: 9-14 yrs
This training is aimed for children who can ride a bicycle already with basic control skills. Please ensure your child can attend each day of this Bikeability training before booking.
We start with 'off-road' Level 1 training and to ensure your child have the necessary bike control skills before progressing to Level 2 training. We will then move onto level 2 training where your child will learn how to deal with traffic situations, but sticking to quiet roads. Come along to build on your bike control skills and confidence to ride on the road!
Ideally, the children will have their own bikes so they can learn on bikes that they are familiar with, although bikes and helmets are available to borrow. Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration so we can start promptly.
The entrance to the sports centre is on Torquay Street off Harrow Road.
