Transport for West Midlands and their partners have loads of exciting opportunities for budding cyclists across the region. These include free cycle hire minutes, adapted cycles, bike give-aways and events.

Child Cycle Training - Bikeability

Bikeability cycling lesson

We’ll be supporting children from across the West Midlands to ensure they have access to the cycle training they need. From learn to ride’sessions to journeys to school.

Up for a challenge?

Take part in two travel challenges during European Mobility Week this September!

Partnering with Modeshift, we’re challenging both businesses and schools in the West Midlands to make travel changes, run car free days, support cycling, and promote the benefits of active travel to staff and students.

Eligibility

Courses are funded by the Local Authority Capability Fund (LACF) and the Commonwealth Games C4E legacy fund. Free places on LACF courses are for people who live, work or study in the West Midlands. C4E funding is targeted to priority communities.
