This is training for children of 9 year and above who are confident with balance and would like to progress to learning about riding on the road. The class will have no more than 6 trainees and there are 2 fully qualified instructors on hand.
Please meet at St Matthew's Community Centre, St Matthew's Road SW21NH. Training will begin here, off road, and then move on to quiet, local roads. This class is NOT suitable for complete beginners or those who are still learning to balance their bike; if your child requires beginner training, please sign up to one of these courses on alternative Saturdays.
The session begins at 10 but please arrive at 9.45 for registration. The session finishes at 12 so that instructors can return bikes and take trainee details before the next group begins. Please collect your child promptly at 12 as instructors are not able to look after children beyond this time.
Trainees are encouraged to bring their own bikes (and helmets, if required) but bikes and helmets will also be available to borrow.
All participating trainees will receive a cycle-related gift at the end of the session (subject to availability), provided trainee details are recorded after the class.

Meeting point and bike storage are at the Community Hall for St Matthews Estate Tenants & Residents Association (SMETRA). Training may take place at the Dray Gardens MUGA (Dray Gardens SW2 1SL).
