Led Ride Ingrebourne to Rainham Marshes Round Trip

Guided ride starting at Ingrebourne Valley Nature Discovery Centre, through Hornchurch Country Park and along the Thames to the Royal Hotel and back with stops along the way and a break for lunch at The Royal.   Led by fully qualified and experienced cycling instructors.

This route follows the NCR136, through Hornchurch Country Park and then a short distance along the Thames on the NCR13.  We will be riding mostly off road but crossing some busy roads. Bright clothing recommended and helmets essential for all.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Not recommended for under 8s unless with a good riding history.  Children aged 8 and over should be able to ride to Bikeablilty level 1 standard (ride in a straight line with one hand if needed, turn corners, look behind while riding forward, use gears, set pedal, understand brake use).  The ride will be paced at the speed of the most relaxed rider. No one gets left behind.
 

Riders are welcome to take part in the whole ride or join at points along the way.  Instructors will share live locations on the day via WhatsApp. Should you not wish to be part of the WhatsApp group please state so when registering.  Estimated timings:

10am: Ingrebourne Valley Nature Discovery Centre, RM12 6DF

11am: Tesco Extra, Rainham, RM13 9YZ

12.30pm: Arrive at The Royal Hotel, Purfleet, RM19 1QA

1.30pm: Leave the Royal

3pm: Tesco

4pm: Finish back at Ingrebourne
